Bueller.. Bueller...Bueller
Anyone notice that the gas prices have suddenly dropped, nah even plummeted to new lows just before the elections ? Is it just my Irish self that notices this sudden drop? Is it the oil companies trying to stop the new proposition or politicans pulling favors to make the water we find our selves in less oil slicked?
Not that I am unhappy over paying less, but I'll take the sudden drop with a side of disbelief and expectance of worse to come..
Anyone Anyone Anyone??
So dont forget to vote tomorrow if you haven't already done the route of absentee ballot thats always handy...

i already voted & yes, i smell something foul in the air too.
There was a really good article in Fortune magazine talking about how there are a mass of conspiracy theories around the drop in gas prices, and they were debunking them, saying it is simply a dollars and cents sort of issue, mainly related to a lot of the hedge funds drastically reducing their holdings in oil and other fuels and the Goldman Sachs commodity index reducing the weighting of gasoline, blah blah blah...
(article is here if you wanted to read it.. )http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2006/10/30/8391681/index.htm
It sounds real neat and tidy, but I guess the conspiracy theorist in me is still not convinced. (and never will be! :)
On the positive, I did vote and was QUITE pleased with this elections results!
